Adv. Nandan Jha is the Founder and Secretary General of the Gandhi-Mandela Foundation and Chairman of the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy (IFIE), a Government of India recognized not-for-profit organization compliant with 80G, 12A, and 8A provisions. He initiated the Gandhi-Mandela Award, a prestigious international honor aimed at promoting the values of peace, non-violence, community service, and social development, inspired by Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela.
Adv. Jha is also the Founder and Organizer of the Champions of Change Award, a national-level Indian award that promotes Swachhta, community service, and social development. In previous years, these awards have been presented by the Hon’ble President of India and the Hon’ble Vice-President of India as chief guests. Awardees have included Bharat Ratnas, Chief Ministers, Union Ministers, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri recipients, and other eminent personalities contributing significantly to societal development.
He is also the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of ‘Power Corridors’, a monthly news magazine, and ‘Panchayati Times’, a prestigious digital news portal.
At the age of just 17, Adv. Nandan Jha was honored with the National Bravery Award by the then Hon’ble President of India Shri K. R. Narayanan, and also received the Jeevan Raksha Padak from the then Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri I. K. Gujral.
